| What do YOU look for in an anti-aging skin review? Are you impressed by the glossy ads and the testimonials from your favourite actress or life role model? You might well be and I think we are all sensitive to that sort of testimonial. Obviously it works like a dream as the cosmetic companies are laughing all the way to the bank. There is a problem though. In spite of their best efforts, the products are not giving people the results they want fast enough. Also there are health risks inherent in the products. This is because they are not prepared to do all the expensive research on more natural ingredients and prefer using cheaper chemicals which are not really good for our health at all. So, what is the best anti-aging skin care system, you may well ask? Well, first of all lifestyle is a factor which people tend to forget about and they do not realize how drinking alcohol can often have such a negative impact on the epidermis. Just think of alcohol as containing no really useful calories or nutrients and the body looks on it as a toxin. We all know how alcoholics look as their skin is a give away. But even alcohol in moderation can be quite invasive. It can rob the skin of its blood supply and deplete the nutrients, especially the invaluable Vitamin A which is so important for the renewal of skin cells. As if that wasn’t bad enough, it also dehydrates the skin. Everyone wants hydrated smooth skin but a few glasses of wine might do more damage than you think! The secret ingredient is that everybody wants in their anti-aging skin care treatment is collagen as that is responsible for how supple and firm our skin is going to be. There are all sorts of tricks of the trade here and none of them really work at all but they do a good job of trying to sell this to a gullible public. They will persuade you that you need more collagen and there is whole gamut of collagen available in pills, supplements, injections and so on. It is a pity that the skin cannot even absorb any topical type of collage applied to it because of its molecular structure. So we can forget about that and save our money too. Now there is one secret ingredient which can actually get your collagen producing what it was when you were younger. This is the one which should be mentioned in every anti-aging skin care review. It is not, for very obvious commercial reasons. Why not check out the site attached to this blog for more information on this. Isn’t it time they stopped fooling you? You are in for a few surprises. | ||

Natural Remedies For Age Spots - Finding a Natural, More Effective Remedy
Did you know that the French refer to age spots as cemetery medals? Things are not that bad but there is the whole question about the natural remedies for age spots.
Which are better? Herbs or plants as natural remedies for age spots? Well, the answer does not really matter as the idea of rubbing whatever juice of a plant on to numerous blemishes for months is hardly practical!
We know from various sources that the Iroquois had a rather special formula in which they used the impatiens plant to get rid of these spots or brown spots as they are sometimes called.
We could browse books on natural remedies for age spots and come up with more or less exotic solutions. Actually, the most common ones are those derived from the acidic fruit such as lemons, oranges, grapes, and strawberries.
There are also natural remedies for age spots which use a mixture of apple cider vinegar and orange juice. Then there are other mixtures using bilberries and buttermilk. Other more exotic preparations use castor oil and frankincense!

Natural Topical Creams For Dry Skin
If you are suffering from a dry skin
there could be many reasons. It could simply be matter of a disease such as diabetes or simply a poor diet or long hot showers which wash out all the oils or the wrong type of soap. Before we look at creams for getting rid of dry skin, let us examine what is going on when it becomes dried up and what are the best solutions.
As 60% of whatever cream or lotion we put on our body is absorbed, this makes it all the more important that we should use natural plant oils rather than minerals and other harmful irritants. That applies also to creams for getting rid of dry skin.
Manuka honey is one such ingredient as it also a great antibacterial agent. Then you need some high antioxidant ingredients which will help regenerate new skin cells but also help you to keep the skin hydrated so that dry chapped skin is no longer an embarrassment.

There is one basic fact of life about skin care and it
concerns extreme dry skin. As we age, our skin
loses its inbuilt capacity to retain moisture and absorb the nutrients it
needs. Then we have the problem that we tend to produce less sebum (skin
oil) as we get older. Add to that the fact that it cannot produce enough
hyaluronic acid and collagen which leads to sagging skin and we have a formula
for aging skin.
Is there anything we can do to stop this process or at
least to delay it? One solution which we can implement on a daily basis
has been suggested by the Mayo Clinic when they discuss the topic on their website.
They recommend that any hot baths should be changed to
warm baths. The reason is that hot water really strips away the protective
essential oils which are also helping to keep our epidermis properly hydrated.
Then we should also use tepid water for face washing and also avoid soaps as
much as possible.
Weather conditions can also play a part and we should
try to avoid wind, cold, too much sun and also dry conditions in the home.
Did you know that the clothes you wear may actually
aggravate extreme dry skin? The reason is that fabrics like wool and rayon
especially if worn near the skin, can actually trap the sweat. Dry skin
friendly fabrics are cotton and linen.
When we do wash our skin we can avoid harsh soaps,
keep the amount to a bare minimum and also opt for non-soap cleansers.
There is another problem associated with extreme dry skin and that is when we apply toner with cotton pads.
Very often these are produced from cotton which has been treated with
pesticides so we are applying another layer of toxins such as chlorine and
dioxin! The only way to avoid this is to make sure that any cotton
wool or pads we use are certified 100% organic.
The solution to extreme dry skin is to find a skincare regime where you can use a
facial cleanser which actually puts all the moisture and nutrients back again.
If this sounds too good to be true, why not try a formula which is rich in
vitamins, and proteins all from natural plant sources.

An Honest Guide To Skin Care Cream
Why do you think Mediterranean people in general have such fantastic complexions ? Certainly they are more exposed to the sun than we are.
It is probably their Mediterranean diet
which makes all the difference. This diet is generally rich in fruit and vegetables and olive oil which produce the vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids for keeping your complexion in optimum condition and preventing precocious aging. But the cosmetic companies play down the role of diet in beauty care because it could affect their profits.
That is why we need to consider a few other factors when selecting the best skin care cream.
